Self-adaptive dissipative structures could play an important biological role.
Knowledge of these structures should also help citizens and revolutionaries

In summary

I may have something to say, for I can experiment with my small, non-linear, dynamic system, and therefore specifically state the facts and, hence, perhaps specify the comments, the vocabulary, the concepts?

My small, non-linear, dynamic system is perfectly deterministic and, at the same time, unpredictable, due to the weaknesses of the observer, and not "fundamentally due to chance". This is the conclusion of experiments repeated thousands of times. And I'm willing to bet that this small, non-linear, dynamic system is representative of random phenomena of the same sort (emergence, etc.) in the fields of physics, biology, sociology, etc.

This small system, on the one hand, is a real, tangible, non-linear, dynamic system for which parameters can be set (it is an organism, a machine that makes the silicon work hard). On the other hand, it simulates physical, biological, sociological systems, which also are dynamic and non-linear, sensitive to external conditions, existing in nature.

Is such a network of scientific and philosophical concepts, available to researchers, pertinent for understanding the operation of my small, non-linear, dynamic system? I propose here an experimental test for the concepts.

For my part, I call the network of concepts that I use (in the process of being drawn up) "Process X of a Creative Nature." With my small, non-linear, dynamic system, the adventures linked to quantity and quality (let us say "the hesitant emergence of new qualities") in bound, continuous domains, can be measured, recorded, compared, and studied, while freely assigning numerical values to the initial parameters.

Is not "the hesitant emergence of new qualities" the most probable form of the revolution in the society towards which we are working? I believe so, and this is one of the reasons why I continue to insist on a new philosophical category that I call "emergence", which encompasses a set of concepts of lesser authority, all this to describe a "hesitant", lasting phenomenon lying between thresholds of favorable conditions (in a window), all aspects that clearly do not bring Hegel's "qualitative leap" to mind for me. Surely, there is still work to be done before the category of "emergence", along with its peripheral concepts can emerge.

My "small system" is illustrated in particular by multi-agent software modules 2, 3, 8 and 9.

Until now, the decisive relationship between individual activists (and/or groups of activists) and the world around them have not been addressed explicitly. It has generally been thought that spontaneity would be enough.

There is a glaring lack of a new method for new practices. There is a lack of specialized language and concepts for crucial emerging creative operations.

Conclusion

Activist-citizens?

There are indeed such things as activist-citizens and, clearly, we see that without them, humanity will remain mired in capitalism and undergo ever greater suffering, perhaps even to the point of self-annihilation.

The future therefore belongs to this new sort of human being - more responsible, more creative, individually and collectively embracing ideals of solidarity more fully. The time has come to become aware, to be able to talk about things, to leave off being content to "try to do" things empirically.

Creating the theory of one's practice is a specifically human "way of doing things". Through this way of doing things, humans are able to cumulate acquired experience and the recipes of the new "know-how" that work.

Through this way of doing things, they can test, criticize, reject, enrich, confirm, etc. This way of doing things is a source of progress.

If it does not take its place as an established practice, it is nonetheless there, in the yearning; it works under the surface; it is a source of bitterness and despair. A new language is needed, for its own needs and to enable communication - to enable individual and collective progress.
